red, white + blue congratulations !

All right, so right off the bat, I must admit I stole and graffitied a Carolyn Gavin design this morning. Although thankfully, I don't think she'll mind O;) Especially since she and I were just skyping late last night pre-Election results. Although, since she hadn't mentioned her blog entry yesterday to me, I didn't see her lovely red, white + blue designs till this morning. Aren't they simply adorable?

So anyways... Yes, Congratulations America! Regardless of who you were rooting for, as I watched McCain give his exceptionally gracious concession speech and Obama's awesome 'n extraordinary victory speech... Umm, all I can say is WOW! I am certain I am not the only Canadian proud to call ourselves your northern neighbours... You all did us proud! As a friend from British Columba pointed out... Here's hoping yesterday inspired more Canadians, and everyone in general to be more politically engaging and savvy next time there is an election in your city, province or country... What amazing voter turn out! Kudos!
