haha those ideas are hilarious!! :)
but are the technologies going into making these extravagant and yet purposeful things green? the power it takes to make the endless garbage can could be like using a robotic arm to pick up trash if it's not. :S
the fun theory is something I def agree on though, it's so fun reusing old materials to make something desirable! The piano idea is sooo cool. :) Just off of the extreme side-a coat of rainbow, enviro paint would be good enough for me. Plus I'm still writing on paper from handouts last year @ school. :)how do you come across all this stuff?? :)
i wondered about the energy required to power these ideas too... however, i must admit i am not an extreme environmentalist, and believe if these simple, clever, but FUN ideas can influence positive behaviour, i'm all for it ;)

I guess the thing is that to being nice to the earth, there's a lot of different facets. There's keeping it clean (no littering), keeping it cool (carbon emissions, clean energy) and preserving land (limit waste for smaller landfills like ecojot's doing! and preserve water, too) Can we satisfy them all? or just some? I feel like i'm on the reduce waste side.
